also tape her mouth shut so you won’t have to listen to her curses as you run.
In that case I use a spring clip swivel
that is tied to the painterline with an Anchor hitch http://www.tollesburysc.co.uk/Knots/Anchor_hitch.htm only because I just can’t seem to trust any knot to hold a loaded boat in moving water…and the clip is much simpler and quick
