I also find the seat pan with the velcro still attached just fine, very comfortable. I did replace the back band with one by IR. I find the foot position on the pedals fine, as well as the operation of the SmartTrack rudder as long as it is working normally. I don’t think the Q700 handle well in wind without the rudder, and never paddle it without deploying the rudder.
