Paddling in the Rain…
with a drysuit is so nice!- went out for 2-1/2 hours yesterday, light rain, 50F- pure warm, dry, toasty pleasure! worth it for the number of days it will add to my season alone- much nicer than raingear.

Right on. With a drysuit and a wide-brimmed Tilley, who cares about the weather?

Skip the nonbreathable stuff if you sweat much. I made the same mistake with nonbreathable drypants. As long as I barely exerted myself, the sweat buildup wasn’t too horrible. But even a moderate effort left me with soaked longjohns. And that was on the lower half of the body, which is less sweaty than the top.
