the 09 had the cable glassed in where the cut out is in the front top. It was out of the way to the side so no need to adjust.
I used the longer stainless bolts from local West Marine. I used new bolts and washers.
Before I lowered the seat, it did crack right at that cut out for the cable. The seat being higher up allowed it to shift around more with less contact with the bottom of the hull. Valley sent me a new seat free of charge. And when I lowered it I added a few extra wedges of foam to the front sides to keep it stationary.
