Rob Roys and decked canoes

Hull Lust
No I have not paddled either the Rob Roy or the Pungo 140.

I have paddled an older Pungo, I think refered to now as the Pungo Classic. I own a WS Piccolo, A great design for small folks but very floppy. I considered buying a WS Alto but decided against it because, on inspection, it too was pretty floppy (thin poly hull).

I have paddled a Bell Wildfire and a Bell Magic and looked at their Rob Roy.

I can not imagine becoming infatuated with a Pungo or any other WS boat.

I do lust after both Bells I’ve tried. As I’m presently involved in heated affairs with 6 other boats (MR Outrage, MR Explorer, Swift Osprey, CD Caribou, Dagger Atom, Perception Slasher) and my finances are limited I have not persued the The Bells.

Is a Rob Roy better than two Pungos?

I believe it could well be.

OK I saw a pic
I saw a pic of Tophers Rob Roy and now I want one too. Ofcourse that goes for most canoes I see. Think I can stand in it?
