Here is a shouldless paddle that was made by Wolfgang Brinck back in about '08 or '09. It has been Heather’s preferred paddle since then.
Another thumbs up here for Umingmaq’s unique product lines and personal customer service. I’ve ordered from him several times – great deal on a beautiful cherry ottertail canoe paddle for my little solo and he shipped me two different sized sprayskirts when I was unsure of fit on some odd-shaped kayak coamings – gave me a full exchange over a month later on the one that didn’t fit.

That looked fun. One of my pet dislikes is how wide angle fisheye cameras makes fairly good waves look knee high.
