Will it ever be the same without Neptune’s cottages next door? I’d like to come down but I don’t know if work might get in the way. Jack, I don’t think I’ve seen you or Nanci since the Adirondack Classic two years ago (although I read regularly about your paddling adventures, seems like no one gets by either of you these days)! Don’t you all want to come north next year, the Run of the Charles in April or the Blackburn in July? I always have extra boats available… Pam

next summer, and I would like to do the Blackburn.
We had trained our bippies off for the Adarondak 90 miler and were in good shape, but had to withdraw.
We had planned to come up for the North River Race and then head up and spend some time getting ready for the 90 miler, but had a illness in the family and had to do some care giving all summer.
We did manage to race almost every other weekend all over NC.
Catch up on the work and try to make it.
If not we will miss you, but catch up with you another time.

I was spoiled - now lost without them
Having to load and unload boats and drive from somewhere everyday will be like a totally different event.
Guess I’d better get on lining something else up…
