You’re the only one I know who warms up his hands by falling out of the boat. Its going to be cold on Saturday - you may need to fall out twice. 
I’ve tried it and it doesn’t help to keep my feet warm.
Warm water suit
I agree and to take what you said a step further … I used to winter dive with a wetsuit. We used to bring hot tap water in a thermos and pour that down the suit first because in a wetsuit - if the water that seeps in is shockingly cold, you may struggle to warm up or you may not be able to - plus it’s terrible to deal with.
Commercial divers use a hot water suit that’s like a sophisticated wet suit with hoses that are fed hot water from the boat on the surface.
