Yeh, but
Epic makes a very fine paddle…
But what works for NASCAR drivers doesn’t necessarily work for soccer moms…
If it did I wouldn’t have traded my wing for a bent shaft… but I’m getting old…
Got a bent shaft this summer
after paddling a straight shaft Werner Camano for about 5 years. I purchased a small diameter (for my stubby little fingers) bent shaft carbon Werner Shuna at the East Coast Symposium. It took about two trips to really get used to it, but I like it now. It seems to be easier on my wrists and shoulders.
I usually grab my bent shaft…
…when going out but am not sure why I like it better than the straights…I can paddle with anything…weight makes the biggest diffo for me.
thanx everyone
thank you all for your input, i am a kayaker so i was mostly looking @ the info on kayak paddles. from all the responses i learned that everyone has there own preferances. so i guess the only answer is to do some demo-ing. for me i think a good choice is a bent shaft since im 17yrs. old and i got a lot of paddlin ahead of me.
thanx
