Venture Easky 13
I'm a big fan of the Venture kayaks and they have a model you might want to also look at -- for the same price range at the Riot and Wilderness models, they are a little more streamlined. Also have outstandingly comfortable seats with a good sized but not too big cockpti, excellent thigh bracing and are a little narrower and lower profile, making them faster and better tracking. Might be hard to find one to demo depending on where you live. Really nicely finished boats, made in England.

I also agree that you are at the top end of size for this length class of boat. You might want to weigh the registration hassle against the advantages of having a boat that won't limit your usage.
