Swift Mattawa.

I’m looking to install a third seat in my Swift Mattawa.

I have done a couple solo trips with my dog, and would much rather have a comfortable seat, then a kneeling thwart.

Any input will be appreciated

Location questions
Where are you going to install the seat? And how heavy is your dog?

I would like to have it where the kneeling thwart is?My dog is 80 lbs and I will have an 80L pack that will be 40 to 50lbs (This canoes is asymmetrical)

Position
If the position of the kneeling thwart works install the seat so the front edge is at the same position. That was the advice I got from Mike at Ranger Canoe. Worked out fine.
