My current boat is
a Manitou 14. So I’m sure any fully fledged touring kayak I get will feel like a racehorse after this one–but I think there’s a reptilian part in my brain that will always want to go faster (and will never likely be satisfied).
The reptilian part of your brain…
must instruct the reptilian body to keep training. Difference between roto or composite T165 can’t compare to the difference between trained/skilled paddler vs. not trained/skilled.

That was my boat and it is sold. Don’t get too hung up on the age of a glass boat. Well cared for is much more important.

That was a good looking boat. Coming from my kayak, I was a little unsure about my abilities to relax in it given the Silhouette’s reputation.
