for the great reviews on Explorer, etc. I had not considered the Aquanaut but it is definitely a maybe now. I will demo-demo-demo as soon as Atlantic Kayaks reopens (thanks for that tip NJ).
When I said the “final” kayak, I meant that in CONTEXT of course. My Shadow “was” the “final” boat 2 years ago (#4 by the way). I think it all goes back to the definition of the word “is”. This “is” my final boat (Bill, you’re a genius).

The Outer Island is designed by Jay Babina. Originally a wood strip design, Impex has licensed and brought to life in composite.
