Yup.
I had on the standard 2" production riot fins. Fins certainly help with holding the wave face/turning but they do offer more drag on paddling out. Although the 2" fins don’t add on as much as 3-5" fins. But the big fins are for big waves and/or big riders. I’ve settled into using 2.75" fins (home made with glass/epoxy/luna) with my surf boat in most wave conditions.
