thanks for all the replies. i think i’m going to go with wenonah. i’d like to have kevlar or carbon, but i think they’re using plastic now. it’s probably going to cost about $85 or so to do the upgrade. i’m pretty stoked about it.
as to the seaworthy aspect, i was caught out in a minor squall today with 30 knot winds from the rear. paddling bay waters with rolling waves, the boat was a little tender, although i never felt as though i was going to huli…that’s flip for all you non-outriggerers.

ordered the seat
i should get the seat in about a week or so. it will be six inches off the hull and slide about 20 inches front to back. can’t wait to get it in. i’ll post a follow-up once it’s done.
