Nobody sells charts cheap. ON the other hand bouys, navigational aids, and many islands appear on the standard software that comes with the unit. YOu can buy cheap topo woftware for you inland needs if it has the data you need just put in your points.
Why I like the garmin 76 series: most readable display in a hand held that I have seen.
