What to wear kayaking in winter?

No, no, no. I am appalled. How can you “adore kayaking” when you have virtually NO experience with the sport other than a couple of outings in borrowed gear?? Reading about a sport and imagining that gives you some knowledge to share is delusional. So you cribbed a bunch of lists, information and aggregated reports from OTHER PEOPLE who presumably may (or may not) have known what they were doing – and how would you be qualified to judge if what you are sharing is valid? Yet you state in your website “Welcome to the best resource for everything that you would like to know about kayaking.” That is FAR from the truth.

You blogging about a subject that you know nothing about and trying to present yourself as an expert is not just arrogant but dangerous. You should delete this whole ridiculous effort and stick to blogging on topics where you actually have some real expertise.

You blogging about how to dress for cold water kayaking or any of the other topics in your "blog grid) would be like me blogging how someone can surgically remove their own appendix. You should not be doing this.

If you want to learn to kayak, that’s good for you and I hope you find good instruction to start doing so. But you are many years and much experience away from being any sort of “expert” to expect people to get useful information from you.

Why should we share our expertise with you so you can monetize it? We share our collective knowledge here on this free public forum where anyone can ask specific questions and seek advice. I doubt you are going to find many people who will willingly allow you to freely harvest their hard-won lessons so you can pass yourself off as an “expert.”

This might be an experiment using AI to create a site that has information on kayaking. Maybe a thesis project?

Harmless and possibly interesting as long as it’s not release to the general public in a non-peer reviewed fashion.

Either way to me it looks like an attempt to monetize the knowledge of other people who give it freely, thinking they’re helping a fellow human.
