Not all GP’s are one piece. I have two 2-piece Greenland paddles, a carbon Gearlab and an Eastpole wood one. I used to have a 3 piece Northern Lights GP that was short enough broken down to pack with my folding kayaks, but sold it to another folder user because I decided I disliked a shouldered paddle.
