had it to 5 mph
well according to my gps and i felt i was going to fall apart.so i bet ya are right
Of course it would
That’s what would make it be a better paddle. Its a definitional thing.
Sorry, I held back as long as i could.

Isn’t it 1.34?
Not for miles per hour
Multiplying by 1.34 will give you the hull speed in knots (same as nautical miles per hour). Since it’s mostly only the hard-core sea kayakers who measure distance in nautical miles and the rest of us use “normal” miles, I figured it made more sense to calculate the speed in miles per hour.
I’m glad you brought it up though, because I remember in the past there was some confusion about this. Clarifying the difference between speed expressed as knots and miles per hour is probably a good thing.
haha
no thank you
im glad
People are finally reading my listings.

lol
scary stuff.
Never Buy Walmart Paddles!
Yes! Never buy cheap Walmart paddles. If you plan on going out for more than 30 minutes, spend the extra money. Your hands will blister, you’ll get tired very quickly, and you won’t enjoy your trip.
Try something carbon or fiber-glass related, Aqua-Bound is usually the best. Lightweight, durable, and quality.
Here is an example of what I have used:

oh yeah?
Maybe the better paddle isn’t faster at all…but also makes a great camp spatula!
(porcupine quills are hard to remove)
Depends
Will your wife be chasing you for buying it?
If so, yep.
TRY
a good piece of Chocolate washed down with some excelent full bodied coffee…maybe a good power bar…then go get some stoke lessons with your paddle of choice:)
I bet it will make you faster…OH maybe add in some good smoked salmon too:)
Best Wishes
Roy
PS…ALWAYS buy the best paddle you can possiably afford…and smile
there was a line?
I don't remember that part at all. I just remember the stork bitching about having to "take a number".
Multipurpose
Yup, didn’t think of that.
Or it might, for some reason, be a better paddle for holding up tarps or digging cat holes.
faster paddling
It may be the paddle will help but your boat may be sluggish in the water compared to other boats depending on what kind you have
…would a faster paddle make you better?
