Rapidfire, Spitfire. Joe Moore also has a plug for a so-called tandem pack canoe designed by DY, and told me he has plans for a 16’ SinPC that is a faster race boat than the RF.
Charlie Wilson is the expert, but my understanding is that he has always owned the molds to Flash, Wild and Star. Those are the three that are going to Colden. Don’t think he has said whether he has transferred ownership of the molds, nor is it necessarily anyone’s business.
From what Charlie said, Colden will use the vacuum resin infusion technology and Cobrasox rail system developed by ??? and used by Placid and Swift.
What price range
will the new boats be in?

I have paddled with and known Paul for years.His wood strip canoes are beautiful and I know the new composite ones will be also.I’m excited to have this new endevor so near me and have this fine line of boats continue to be built(including my favorite the Flashfire).I’m starting to save up!.

Yup - Rapidfire can be set for kneeling
I know someone who just checked that out. PBW can make the boat with a belly band for kneeling regardless of how the seating is initially set up - just have the pack seat velcro’d in rather than glued in if you want to have a choice down the road.
