Hello,
I am trying to find a good river that is close to Atlanta (~3 Hours) for a 2 night, 3 day trip (Would prefer around 25 - 30 mile trip). We would need an outfitter to drop us off and pick us up and to rent canoes. We are fine with primitive camping. We are mostly concerned with nice water and scenery.
I have done the buffalo river and new river both in Tennessee. I absolutely loved the buffalo due to the scenery and how clean the water was, but it is 5.5 Hours away from Atlanta.
If anybody has suggestions I would really appreciate it. Also, if you know of an outfitter for the river please let me know as well.
