That looks lovely String. 60’s in SW Michigan yesterday so I spent some time on the Paw Paw River. I saw a group of river otters and lots of deer.
In one spot there’s a big open marsh with lots of birds and no people. The geese were making a lot of noise and splashing around…like a pep rally for geese.
It took me over 5 hours to cover 13 miles, mostly because of all the obstacles.

Hartwell is a lake and a town in NW SC and east Georgia .It is on the state lines.

We didn’t see any critters except the duck but it was afternoon. We only saw 3 bass boats and they were sitting and fishing. We stay primarily in the coves where power boats seldom go.
