A question about coaming

I have a Hurricane Tampico14 that has an empty space at the bottom of the coaming where my Current Designs Kevlar Kestrel has some sort of filler that squares off the coaming with the hull. It’s almost like they forgot a step when they were making the Tampico. Unfortunately, every time I do a wet exit from the Tampico, I end up scraping my legs on the way out. I am getting tired of the bloody abrasions. Any ideas on how to fix the issue would be greatly appreciated.

There is a Tampico a couple of doors away from me, maybe i can get over and take a look at it…
Can you possibly sand the sharp edges on the coaming? I had to do that on a few boats.

OK I took a look at my neighbors Tampico… I think I know what you are talking about. If mine I would sand, sand, sand the lip until it is no longer an issue…
Good luck… GH
