I have been around the globe a few times but not for pleasure, and I have never paddled a kayak anywhere but a few of the Western united States.
Wyoming, Utah, Montana, Nevada, and Colorado.
Hoping to go to the Great Lakes soon, and also to Alaska in the future.
Doing a 1D and guiding Mongolia’s first commercial canoe trip. Different rivers / same time in Mongolia.

I really can’t pick a best trip. They are so varied and with different people all of whom I have enjoyed paddling with. The ones with rough conditions stand out in my mind but I don’t have any I didn’t enjoy. Even the day trips I have done repeatedly are never exactly the same. It’s been the paddling journey that is among life’s best experiences. Then there are backpacking trips, hunting trips, fishing trips, archery completions, sailboat racing, boat building, flute making and playing, numerous other adventures and hobbies, great friends, and family gatherings. Life has been my favorite trip.
