We are wanting tips on paddling out to John Penekamp Reef from the park. We heard it is 4 to 5 mile paddle to the reef. Wanting to know how long it took someone who actually did the paddle, if they felt safe (winds/powerboats/etc.) and if they were able to get out of the kayaks and snorkel at the reef. Thanks for any help. Not sure if this was the right place to post the question.
