Is anyone here willing to share their experience with Accent paddles? These are sold by MEC and KTP.
I have been considering Accent Lanai Select Carbon Paddle. I need a mid-level low angle touring paddle that can deal with significant chop on large lakes, and is sturdy enough to live through occasional bangs against the rocks.
Any advice would be appreciated!

Bought it on clearance at Sierra Trading Post as a backup. Construction and performance were okay. Only real quibble was that the edges of the blade were sharp enough to slice a finger if you inadvertently slid your hand over them.

I bought one at the same sale as Wavespinner, I used the heck out of mine and found the ferrule wore unacceptably soon. It is very wobbly now. They have probably come up with a different system by now, as that was the old 3 hole with a snap button ferrule. I don’t think anyone uses those anymore(I hope not anyway).
