Round Lake, attached to Little Tupper Lake, is undergoing turnover to the state via a 3rd party conservation org. Anyone have latest info on when the state will formerly acquire and allow paddling access, and even camping? (same parking lot as Little Tupper)

There was an atrical in “Adirondack Eplorer” a while back that outlined a loop through there, I got the impression it was open, unofficialy. Is there ice on it yet, I wonder?

Yes, I’ve often wondered when do the paddling areas in the ADK’s in general freeze up. Can any locals chime in and let us know when freeze-up generally happens and when one can expect the thaw to happen?
