Advice wanted for Caddo Lake....

I will be going with a boy scout troop to camp on Goat Island at Caddo Lake, and would love suggestions as to which sloughs or general areas would be best for either two half day trips out from camp, or an all day outing with a lunch stop somewhere.

Any suggestions by specific slough name, or even general direction would be appreciated.

Post your same message on the D/FW Paddlers group site on Yahoo and you will get some good first hand advice. That group makes the Caddo pilgrimage several times a year.
