Does anyone know the story on this race? Cant seem to find any information outside of the website.
There doesn’t seem to be a lot of information on it, which makes me a little leery. It might be a very cool race, eventually. It has a big purse, which should draw some paddlers. There are some unusual aspects, like you can change out boats whenever you want, and I can’t find any mention of checkpoints or tracking of paddlers. Not saying anybody would cheat, but…with $7500 on the line, there better be some way of keeping track of everybody.
