And a final note from yesterday. Nice people.

I beat the Lilly dippers to the ramp yesterday. I was in a SINK and have a rough time getting out. Once out , I have an even more difficult time standing and walking until I can get a leg brace on. My paddling partners always help, but they weren’t there yet.
A guy and his wife were just getting ready to
leave in their pontoon. He came off the dock and helped me get upright. Then his wife came over and they picked up my boat and carried it up to a grassy spot.
In all the years I’ve been paddling, that was one of the nicest things I’ve seen people do on a busy ramp.
Obviously, I was impressed and told them so.

You bring out the best in people. Except for me of course!

There are lovely folks out there. I find they come out easier for one person than a group though.
