Nice color!
In the future it is quite likely that bigleaf maple A macrophyllum will be used commercially in the West for maple sugar and syrup production. Its native range is in western OR and WA.
That doesn’t make it sound very tasty.
It turned out very nice.
The stuff I buy at the grocery store has the name and address of the place it was made, usually one in Plymouth, NH.
I have sudden urge for brioche french toast…
