This is an apparently stout boat at 75 lbs. My typical speed is 2.5-3.5 mph. Can I expect this speed without working myself to death?
I weigh 230 and am used to paddling 14-16’ rec boats.
Not made for speed. Enjoy the ride. Probably stable. I see a lot more guys fishing in the angler boats. Everybody is chasing Northern Snakeheads. One guy in an sngler boat passed in front of me going about 5 mph under electric motor power. Happy as a tick on a dog, he waved as he slid by.
