Conditions look relatively tame for this year’s event, compared to what can be seen in some past videos. Still fun to watch, as Fishers Island tidal race is one of the premier sea Kayak “playground” of the northeast.

A peaceful paddle.
Thanks for that.
Majority, but not monopolized by Romany and Celtic.
Side annoyance - I hate it when videos are posted as “Made for Kids”. Made for Kids means that the target audience is kids, not that it is appropriate for all audiences (as this video is). YouTube doesn’t allow videos rated as Made for Kids to be saved, for some reason. No comments either, which makes more sense.
My normal process is to take videos which I may want to watch and add to a Watch Later playlist, and the when time is more appropriate for watching videos, to watch it. Can’t do this with the Made for Kids videos. Usually I end up not watching Made for Kids videos, but I guess if I took the time to write this rant, I can take a few minutes to check out this video.
Likely because Kayak Waveology (https://kayakwaveology.com/store/) sponsors this annual event. And, as you may have noticed, Nigel Dennis is one of the instructors, in this year’s as well as past Autumn Gales events.

Interesting! I have always checked “Not for kids” in the videos I post, but never really knowing what the practical implications are for how the video is viewed or proscribed.
