Is there anyway to bring back some of the luster of a UV damaged fiberglass canoe? …or will anything I do only result and the faded color returning? Thanks, Joe.
I would try Penetrol (available in the paint department of Lowes.)
It usually means UV exposure. There are lots of fiberglass restorers you can try. Most older boats need some repairs so I always just paint em. It is much less work and the paint protects the glass from further sun damage.
