I would like to paddle across Hudson from Plum Point to Bannerman Castle. How should I pick a time to go based on tide? If, say, a tide table shows high tide at 4pm and low tide at 10 am, what would be the best time to go, 10am, 4 pm or in the middle at 1pm? When is the current weaker?
