Just got rid of my ride with cross-bars and got a bare-roof SUV (Ford Flex) I see a handful of discussions on bare roof racks that are 5-6+ years old, but was hoping for a little more recent experience and use.
Any recommendations? I usually am able to get three up there, so the wider the better.

When you say bare roof rack, you mean a cross bar and tower that would attach to a car that doesn’t have rails or the like, right? Not using an inflatable rack or foam pads without a crossbar?

I have sit in kayaks, two 10 foot and a 14 foot. Just looking for ease of use and sturdiness for once a month trips.
