Hey folks,
My wife and I will be in NOLA for a long weekend soon. I used to work in the Everglades and Okefenokee, so I’m very comfortable paddling in swamps, near gators, etc. I’d like to get my wife out in to see the Bayou and some wildlife. Is anyone aware of a rental outfitter or canoe/kayak tour operator in a good spot for a paddle near NOLA? Looks like the water trails at Jean Lafitte are too overgrown to paddle according to the NPS website. We’d be looking for about a two-hour paddle. Thanks!
