BEAUFORT COUNTY (NC) PADDLE TRAIL MAPS

The long awaited Beaufort County (NC) Canoe/Kayak Paddle Trail Guide and Atlas is now available from the Pamlico-Tar River Foundation (PTRF)for $25.00 (includes shipping).



The book contains 22 pages of colored maps and descriptions as well as the GPS coordinates for all 71 access points on over 25 rivers and creeks of Beaufort County. Book also contains tidbits of historical info and other “good to know” facts.

It’s prunanced “BOWfut”.

Only in the south…
the one down the road apiece in SC is pronounced as it is spelled.

Maybe they pronounce them different so that you won’t confuse one with the other.

Available from the Pamlico-Tar River Foundation Office which is located across the street from Bill’s Hot Dogs on Gladden Street.



It a very good map book but then too I may be prejudiced since I installed the access signs and am in the process of installing mile markers on some of the longer paddling venues.
