Does anyone have suggestions for paddle trips in the area of Big Lagoon State Park (Florida)?
Avoid hungry reptiles.

Cute but, this is an open Salt water environment. Reptiles above humans on the predatory scale will be few and far between. 
I have put in at the park ramp and paddled over to the national seashore side and did a big loop back to the ramp. You could also paddle under the 292 bridge from the park ramp and head over to The Perdido State Park on the way there are a couple of small islands. I didn’t get a chance to do that. I would have liked to have paddled the Perdido River, and the Escambia. That would be a good mix if you have the time.
