We are bringing a group of friends to float the Big Piney River and the access we have been looking for for awhile we can’t seem to find. It’s called the Horse camp access (forest service) and it’s #46.7 in the paddlers guide. It is directly above the Pulaski / Texas county line but there is no road name or instructions but it says it has good access? Is there anyone that can tell us about this access or how to get to it?
I believe the access you’re looking for is at mile marker 46.7. It’s reached from Wheeling Lane which comes off of County Rd. 1552 (White Rd.). It’s a National Forest access.
