For memorial weekend my friends and I are planning on going to try to canoe the Big South Fork in Tn / Ky. Mostly because it will be a bit warmer hopefully and is the same distance to the BWCA, we are going back end of July though.
Has anyone on here done it. They are telling me that it takes 4-5 days to do the 50 miles. Typically the outfitters are slow? Last year we did one in Michigan (Au Sable Grayling to Mio) for 55 miles in 2 days. So we are not sure, that’s why I am asking. It is supposed to be a nice trip, we plan to put in friday get out monday and head home.
Thoughts?
May be painfully low.
