Boreal Ellesmere question

On the models that pre-date the new skeg system and are the larger cockpit (not an ocean cockpit) has anyone moved the seat foward from its’ factory position to give more room between one’s back and the cockpit rim? If so did it make the stern of the boat even more loose or did there seem not to be much of a difference in how it paddles?

Ellesmere seat
Well, I had the ocean cockpit but, when I replaced the stock seat with foam, I actually moved it BACK in order to plant the stern a bit more firmly and, therefore, cut weathercocking a little. Maybe you could experiment by just sliding your butt forward a bit in a beam wind and see how it affects the handling?

Have fun!
