broad head rivets

Hello all,

the slats that make up my canoe seats are attached to a 90 degree piece of aluminum that is in turn riveted through the fiberglass hull in three places. the aluminum support is starting to tear and i want to replace it. however, the rivets that were used by the manufacturer are not a standard size, they have a broad head (about 3-4 centimeters), presumably to keep them from puling through the fiberglass. does anybody have ideas on where i could get said rivets for replacement?

thanks,

kuriti

Wenonah Canoe Co. sells 'em

online?
thanks for the quick reply

i did a search on their website and turned up nothing. have you seen them online, or just in the store?

thanks,

If Fastenal dosn’t have what you want
I believe Wenonah will sell 'em to you direct (anodized black or natural alum), but you’ll need to call. We can get 'em as dealers, if’n you have one nearby.
