I took a few days off to do some paddling with a friend up in Maine. The original plan was to do some camping, but with cold, wet weather in the forecast, we opted for day trips instead. We did the Saco from Swans Falls to Wakers Bridge on Wednesday, and the Sheepscot from Sheepscot Village to Wiscasset on Thursday. Few pictures here:

Enjoyed your TR
next time try sections of the Androscoggin… Particularly noteworthy are the upper sections in and near NH and the lower from Brunswick through to North Bath… some nice waveriding in the Chops.
Thanks
I’ve done the 13-Mile Woods and the Pontook Rapids on the Androscoggin - both are above Berlin in NH. Never done any of the sections in ME.
The big question
Did you guys paddle up to Red’s Eats in Wiscasset for lunch?
On the water is probably the only place they don’t cause traffic jams
Red’s was closed for the season
We ate at Sarah’s across the street. Not everyday that I walk into a restaurant with my drysuit on.
However
At Sarah’s you are not the first
Thanks
Awesome pictures thanks for sharing.
