Any one have a sugestion for a good water proof camera? I want something that I can shove in my pfd and go, but it can’t cost as much as my pfd. Ipaddle whitewater so I don’t plan on staying real dry.

That won’t work
It is much too big. I know. We have one for diving. You really have only two choices. A waterproof disposable film camera (I prefer the one by Fuji) or an Optio wp10i. The latter costs more than your pfd but takes great digital pictures. The former takes ok pictures but is cheap. The Optio is tiny and will slide into any pfd pocket and can be submerged for several minutes.
