Canoe rental problems for early October

We canoe the lower Wisconsin river in early October. I have my own but my friend still rents. His first choice would be Royalex but may have to settle for aluminum. We start out near Boscobel. He called a couple of places but they shut down at the end of September or they only book groups of 8 or more starting October. Any tips?

It sounded clear to me . . . .
He wants tips on renting a single (not group of 8 or more) canoe, royalex preferably, in early October so his friend can canoe with him. According to his question, the liveries in WI stop renting after Sept except to larger groups.
