I’m not telling you any such thing. Canoes bashed on rocks will get damage…somewhere. That’s life. I’m just saying that d’s on top complicate rooftopping and/or getting on the water - for no good reason. If you think topside d’s are the stuff and you believe everything you just wrote, all I can say is Wow. Just Wow.
