Looking for ideas of where to buy closed cell foam padding to wrap around canoe seats to make it more comfortable.

Quarter inch thick minicell foam works reasonably well:

Get a blemish Thermarest Ridgerest pad and cut a section to fit. Very comfortable as it is designed as a sleep pad.

If this is for your team in the 90 miler, there will be a vendor outside the registration building tomorrow night that will have precut pieces of foam available at a very reasonable cost. Otherwise a cheap sleeping pad from any outdoor store or Walmart.
