Can anyone recommend a good place to store a canoe in northern virginia area? I have a 17’ aluminum boat. Thanks!
the beauty of aluminum…
is that you don’t need any special storage. It’ll do just fine upside down in your yard. Or your friend/family member’s yard. Or chained up to a fence anywhere your landlord/manager says is okay.
But if that doesn’t work for you, I know there are many boat houses and marina’s along the Potamac in and near the District. They appear to be mainly for sail boats and rowing skulls, but I’m sure you could inquire about storing a canoe. Where in NOVA do you live? Or maybe more importantly, where do you like to paddle?
