I recenty put a hole in my racing canoe, and i had to rip the center spray gaurd off to reapir ir, and there is no salvaging the old spray gaurd. what type of material should i use, and where can i get it from?

The two guys used that clear plastic stuff that is used for el cheapo storm windows.
It was taut and looked like something that was purchased just for the center spray guard.
